locking ingame name

Is it possible to lock the ingame name?

Now i always use Dutchbatter ingame, but when the travellers vissit my planet and will steal all my beer, i want to start a new account.

This time not with Dutchbatter, but with an unknown name.

Is it possible to lock the name Dutchbatter, so nobody else will use it, because in the future i want to use it again?

Till now there is one Dutchbatter here, but later mabey 5 and i don't want it.

Just like in irc?

Can we lock it @ my e-mail adres or on my forum account?

It's a good Idea, but I dont like the fact you cant use your name again exactly anyway, but then I find the whole evolution procedure quite tedious anyway.

this gives me an idea. how about locking he user name to the ip address, if we do this then it will stop account sharing and multying the downside would be if you have problems with your pc you d be in trouble the other problem would be ifuhave 2 computers you could multy.

Lock the ip?Are you crazy no way some times I use the puters at my mothers or my inlaws house to play or what if I change Internet providers in the middle of my evolution?Thats what I like about this game you can just plug your laptop into a hotel and play space trace anywhere on the planet and god we all know computers break all the time I was just using my daughters computer for a week because mine was under repair if that was implimented I would have been out of the game for a week.

All names (usernames, ruler, planet) can not be used again if you do not delete them I thought.

Just try to make an account named JaM of GaDDiM, you won't succeed.

ip locking is bad, like mackman already said.

i always delete my accounts.

I think the best way, is lock it on a e-mail adres. The same you use with registering.

Or set an pass on the name.

If i have locked my name, and want to use my name again, i must give the pass.
