Hi,

obviously a newbie.

So i see in the manual that if one want's to visit somewhere without attacking both fleets should be in the same stance (unleast Attack).

Ex: 2 fleets in defence will not attack eachother

So my questions:...

a) what is the usage of the stance code? is it a kind of code set within allied fleets to avoid confrontation?

b) How do fleets from the same alliance make a combined attack without attacking eachother (if it hasn't been indirectly awnsered by the previous question).

c) Coordinates - I'm still a little confused about coordinates... what's the meaning of the 3 main variables x / y / z?

And is it possible to travel to a coordinate near a certain planet without being in the exact planet or without accidentally get into another planet vicinity?

thanks in advance,

Mauras

Hi Maurillion,

Let me try to give some answers.

a) what is the usage of the stance code? is it a kind of code set within allied fleets to avoid confrontation?
-> I guess stance is the same as attitude? (English is not my native language).
-> Yes, When you make a joint strike with other players, its best to all juse the same attitude, so your fleets dont engage each other, but only the common enemy.
It can also be used to defend a friendly or allied base, as bases allways have attitude defence. (the blue shield)(make sure to clear your former attitude)

b) How do fleets from the same alliance make a combined attack without attacking eachother (if it hasn't been indirectly awnsered by the previous question).
->yep, by using the same attitude.

c) Coordinates - I'm still a little confused about coordinates... what's the meaning of the 3 main variables x / y / z?
They are 3 dimensions of the universe.
look at it like this : you can go forward or backward by changing the x-coordinate, left or right by the y-coord and up or down through the z-coord.

And is it possible to travel to a coordinate near a certain planet without being in the exact planet or without accidentally get into another planet vicinity?
-> you can indeed travel to coords where no planet resides. If you are not sure what your fleet will meet at certain coords, it's best to send a probe first. (investigation probe will discover if any planets are present and a deep-space probe will scan for fleet in the area).

Hope this helps a little,
Penguin

i recomend not to make jokes on newbee questions ( even though those jokes are not meant offensive).

i know when i myself joined into the game and knew nothing at all... so maybe u need to get it explained once.

@ greendragon: it appreciate if u could show the same eagerness in answering my letters to u
