does the multi emp vessel jam ships for the entire battle or just the class combat? And if i have multi emp vessels and they outnumber what is attackin me that means at most i should lose 1 correct? I have a weird battle report but i want to make sure i understand the syntax better.

1 The class conflict only.

2, That would be true if you only had multi emps. And you were not attacked by retraitors. If you have destroyers etc, which you should btw, then it depends on the order the ships fire as to how many u lose.

Any chance you might post the battlereport, and point out the questionable part of the battle?

your class 2 vs enemy class 3: V ^
you:
30 multi-emp-vessels
enemy:
43 cruisers

13 multi-emp-vessels jam 39 ships
1 multi-emp-vessel jams 2 ships

2 cruisers vs 2 multi-emp-vessels

losses:
you :
2 multi-emp-vessels
enemy :
-
score in this subbattle: -28

strange, they shouold jam all at same time.

I had similar problem. I had lets say 40 crusers, and he had 36 class 3 ships. all his cruisers fired, but only my 34 cruisers fired, rest stand down for some unknow reson. and he got away with 2 ships

Maybe some of the emps double up and jam the same ships?

Like one cruiser fires then one multi emp ship jams 3 cruisers, then next turn the next multi emp ship jams 3 cruisers, but 2 of them were jammed by the first multi emp? I have to say I'm clutching at straws here

There are often battlereports with minor irregularities.

It´s a feature!

That is interesting indeed.

I think Space Ghost might be correct, since that explain why you lost 2 muti-emp vessel.
