ok so lets say a guy goes to a place where my ally is. Then i go in. Then i sign on before my ally does. Which battle happens first? mine or my ally's?

If you go in last then your ally will have the first battle.

Yes i am sure.If two fleets are enemys and you as a 3rd party go in they will fight each other first then you will fight.

all battles will appear in the right order (in the order the fleets arrived), independent from the sign in times of the players .
