It's allready placed at a planet, see new ships.

Admin and i invented it, but the most credit for it goes to (ship) Admin though.

Actually, the idea has already been concieved.

The purpose is to create a neutral or weak class three ship in the enemy fleet if they have none, so your specialty class three ships activate.

No it is not. A holo-fleet-carrier produces the hologrammes in your own fleet in order to get a different purpose than this ship.

Now that I have seen this ship in action, on both sides, I would like to comment on it.

I do think this ship needs changes. For 15 mp, you get a free shot against lower classes, if used properly. When I use class one or two, I try to make the enemy class three have as big a disadvantage as possible. Either I dont let the enemy class three fight, or let them fight as little as possible, so I usually have either no class three and four, or use a self destructing ship such as a missile or nanovirus. That way they can get one shot off, but no more.

This ship gives complete control to class three the way it is built.

With 10 holocruisers, the only disadvantage is that you cant put it in the same fleet as shockwave producing ships, or with more than 9 fighting ships. This ensures that all of your apollos and cyclops will fire, and for only 15 mp.

Here is the Armored Supply Shuttle:
armored supply shuttle (class 2 ship)

attack/life: 0/30
manpower: 6

battle details:
creates 1 missile in the enemy fleet in class 3
(battle engine syntax: create,enemy,1,3,missile)

I created this ship, for the same reason. With this ship, you are also creating a class three for your enemy to use as a platform for your class three. The difference is finesse. The Armored supply shuttle will allow you to get maybe one shot per shuttle, and you will take a bit of a loss for your trouble. The difference is the ease in which you can "crack" your enemy's fleet.

It is of my opinion that this ship makes it too easy to get a strong, clear victory against class two and one setups. The only disadvantage this ship has, is that it strengthens the enemy class three, but only a noob will use a hologenerator when the enemy has a class three. It has absolutely no disadvantage when used by a skilled player.

thanks pashendaele, your words are exactly like i wanted to say some time ago, but the ships is already put in a planet.
you only need a nonovirus or a falmingo or 1 cruser or 1 holocruser, for all your apollos, and cyclops will fire, and win easy pts, of course if you have class 3 whoes attacks, all ships wont attack, but TEN holocrusero? that is too much, and i am not only disagree with the mp, i dont want this ship, maybe if class 3 or class 4, so in the other battle will work, coz in only 1 battle?. and only for those people who still without get it.

Very true, this ship brings a lot of power into a apollo/cyclops setup. i have tested it quite succesfully, and i think the power is quite large, therefor i think if it becomes e-ray, you can only benefit from either apollo or cyclops with the ship.

But however the armored supply shuttle seems better balanced i think.

you are right too, steven, maybe e-ray will be better, but there is the problem, races, all ships haven't a race designed, so every body can take othe ship, i dont like it.
But hey, i never try to say e-ray is useless, coz you can use it with a dread-combo, and ten dread isn't bad.

The way I see it, the ships put on a planet are just there to add some diversity to the game and test out invented ships. Now we tested it, and some of us think that it may be too powerful.

Just because it is on a planet, does not mean it has been added to the game. When the supply at that planet runs out, admin can just not put any more in, and not add it to the tech tree.

That is why I feel it is important for all of us to put our opinions in. The admin want to change the game, but they wont do it without our input.

(I would still like to see the Armored Supply Shuttle make it into the game, though. )
