The score of an alliance is the addition of the score of all they members, but I think that should be better if the score of the alliance is the addition of the points win (or lose) by his members only when they are in the alliance.
So the alliance win score only when the members (not somebady else that after enter the alliance) win (or lose) score and when you leave the alliance the alliance not lose score

Good idea, that prevents last minute alliance joins. And this way you won't be jugded at your points in the past when you're want to recruit a alliance. But it has also it drawbacks that an entire alliance form a new alliance and begin with a new score. (But that isn't a major drawback). And that last past about losing a member without losing his score made in the alliance is a good side effect.

I have a better idea. Why don't you admins change the way to score an alliance, making an average of all the members, so no matter how many players are joined, only the one with the best players will have the best score.
This way prevent also last minute alliance joins.

i prefer the idea of having the average as if someone gets a negative alliance score they would just exit and re enter the alliance and so return the score to 0pts

I don't think that that is the way Username intended it to work. I interpret it as though the alliance collects it's own, separate score, gained or lost by all current member's battles.

For example, say I have 1000 points. I then create my own alliance, and earn a further 1000 points. The alliance score is 1000. Someone else now joins, and this person has -1000 points. The alliance score is still 1000 points. Now my ally loses 500 points, and the alliance score lowers to 500 points. If that person or I leave the alliance, the score is still at 500 points.

Alliance score would track all points gained and lost by activities conducted by members, only while they are members.

The only downfall I can forsee is people starting a new alliance when they get a negative score. If three of my allies and I have a negative score, we can quit the alliance and start a new one, resetting our alliance score to zero. This can be fixed by making a rule to check this action, such as: You cannot join a new alliance within 2 weeks of quitting an old alliance; If you quit or are booted from an alliance you may not be in an alliance with any of your old allies for the rest of the round; or some other penalty to make it a hardship to jump alliance to alliance.

Hmm... dont like the average Idea and dont like the other idea.

Problem with average Idea:

Wiz would win. (I am here because of)

Other Idea makes game boring.

This wouldn't be a drawback, because it gives people a new chance and it is only for the alliance. (BTW if they are so bad they probably lose again:D) And I don't think people make new alliances if they have -100 points.

Is better is the Admin. Freeze all alliance completely.
You can't get out or get in of it. That is more easy and useful

No, I don't like that, because you get only moles and they sabotages the alliance because they don't like the policy of the alliance.

mabe if we make alliances hav no more than 25 more or less so we can t have one alliance which keeps on growing. (smurf dragons)

Is this idea gonna be implented sometime, because I think it is a better way to make a alliance score. (And I mean alliance score = scores of points earned by users when they were in the alliance)

i dislike the whole proposal of alliance score...

the only point to make an new alliance score rule seems to be that last minute joins will be impossible...

..but

a) i like last minute joins as a strategical/diplomatic option

b) there isnt any more such a thing as last minute joins, cause the rounds are endless now - so there is no last minute anymore


so in the end i only see the drawbacks..:

a) resetting alliance score to null by starting a new alliance
(and certainly other tricks which might be made...)

b) confusing where and when the alliance points were made?

c) spies/ or inactive players/or cheaters would lead to irreperable damage to alliance score....
(that would it make it harder for new unknown players to get access to the alliances of the experienced players... the experienced ones who know each other will possibly seperate in "deluxe alliances")


i think the drawbacks will damage the game and i havent got the advantage yet ...

ah, and by the way this discussion is useless anyhow, cause in the near future the will be only one alliance:The Borg Collective

But they dont care for points and score but live in peace and look for the next galaxy to assimilate

No don't think so, because the you win or lose points for the alliance when you are in the alliance. You can't change the alliance score by joining or leaving the alliance, so you can't change it by respawn.

Guys, there HAS to be some use for the alliance-score I mean, once the mass-respawn, the current alliance score might drop to zero even for the top alliances... So, currently the alliance-score seems to be useless...

I think that there should be also "all time alliance top score" or something, and an alliance should get its current points in that once the leader gets a respawn or something...
