-mehr rassen wird es nicht geben, man kann eh nur eine spielen.

-es sind gewiß hunderte an weiteren schiffen möglich, aber wir haben die kombinationsmöglichkeiten der bestehenden schiffe unterschätzt, deswegen lassen wir uns etwas zeit mit noch mehr schiffen, obwohl die natürlich bereits getestet werden.

- mehr reichweite bei den sonden... müssen wa ertsma nachdenken ...

ach so... die diskussion um die erhöhung der manpower...

spacetrace ist schon ein eigenes Spiel und beim Entwicklungsprozess kam schon diese idee zur diskussion... natürlich, denn die meisten weltraum-strategy-klassiker, die man so kennt, also z.b. master of orion, sind so angelegt.


das ist ja auch lustig, aber eben nicht bei einem internetspiel!!! weil es eben keinen spass macht sich zu resgistrieren und schwupps kommt einer vorbei der 1000 (!!!) mal mehr schiffe hat als man selbst.
( dieses beispiel ist ja tatsächlich bei dem einem oder anderen internetspiel nicht übertrieben)
ausserdem bietet das internet bessere und interresantere strategieentwicklungen, also zusammenarbeit mit anderen spielern!

deswegen haben wir bei der entwicklung darauf geachtet, mit voller absicht, dass vor allem allianzstrategien im vordergrund stehen.

the discussion around the increase of the man-power... space trace is special game and in the development process this idea was discussed... naturally, most space strategy classics , thus e.g. master of orion, work that way. that is also nice, but not with an Internet play!!! because it's no fun to start play and an enemy appears and has a fleet that's 1000 (!!!) larger (this example can be found in different Internet-games)
the Internet is the platform for more interesting strategies esp. co-operation with other players!

therefore we developed the game with the intention that alliance-strategies should be the center of attention.

Hm, wenn die Allianztaktiken im Vordergrund stehen, dann sollte man dem Rechnung tragen!
Also sollten z.B. Allianzmitglieder mehr Informationen übereinander haben, z.B. die Position, Flottenstärke, Reisezeitberechnung (für gemeinsame Angriffe!), etc.
Eine Art Allianzforum für jede Allianz wär auch etwas wert!
Wie ist das eigentlich, hat jeder gleich viel Menpower?
Und wie wärs wenn man mit Erfindungen (Computer, KI) die Anzahl der benötigten MP pro Schiff verringern könnte?
Irgendwie sollte es schon möglich sein seine MP zu vergrößern, aber es sollte Zeit kosten. Damit keine Newbies überrannt werden kann man ja auch einen Newbieschutz einführen, oder die Admins schicken bei Newbie-Bashing ne Killerflotte zum Angreifer... *G*

each alliance has its own subdomain: [alliance-name].spacetrace.com, which will redirect to the url (homepage of the alliance) given at the alliance founding (it can be altered). if no url was given, the link will open a new chat-window, with the alliance-name as the irc-#-name. i recommend to use irc (www.euirc.com) for better, faster communication.

a difference of 100 mp isn't very relevant!

the combination of your ships is much more relevant!!

a small quiz:

you have a fleet with 5000 mp

and i have a fleet with 2620 mp

i make more than 2000 points.
how is it possible???


this is only an example, but in fact you will earn points from good strategy and alliance play.
