I open this topic to descuss about the attack code.
I think that there must exist the possibility to have an attack code and a defensive code.
For example: there are 4 enemy fleets in an enemy base, but I just want to fight the 4 fleets, so that an alley can fight only against the base. When I put my attack possition in defensive (to not fight against the base), my alley (that wants to attack the enemy base) must have an attack position, and because of that our fleets will fight.
My Idea is to set the possibility to choose, within the attack code, what code possition do you want.
-With an attack code position your fleets will fight against any fleet without the attack code (so as usual)
-With a defensive code possition your fleet can be attacked by any fleet without the code, rather not by those fleets with the same attack code. |

Why don't you put in the code after you get to the planet?
If that's too difficult, why not meet your ally a couple of hours before the fight to establish battlepause with him? |

I don't think it a good idea ...
The game is about tactics and strategy. IMHO your problem can be solved by a well synchronized attack with the same attack code of all fleets.

@Passchendaele: one reason is that maybe I am not home or sleeping when the attack happend.
and if my alley have battlepause, then he will not fight the base
@rauran: didnt you get my example? |

Incorrect. Thats not the way battlepause works. Battlepause is designed to protect fleets from fighting each other to dust when left together. Each fleet or base may interact with every other base and fleet once every 24 hours. Just because he has batlepause with you does not mean that he has battlepause with anyone else, so the attack on the base is fine. |

The Attack code can be used has defensive code
Well, just make you known
And don't matter is you fight or not against your ally, he or you don't get any losses (Using same attack code)

is there anybody that actually understand my idea?
@darklim: if I put the attack code, we (allies) wont fight, but i will against the enemy's base. My idea is to put an attack code that can works as a defensive or as an attack code, so I can choose not to attack somebody's base and also not to be attacked by an alley, but to attack an enemy's fleets. |

As you can see by some of the posts here, attack codes and defense and attack attitudes are a bit confusing to a lot of people. If you add another feature I think it would make a bigger mess out of it, and I wouldn't trust my ally to not fight me.
So we would do it another way. |
