If this has already been discussed on the forum, accept my apologies and only tell me where the thread is that addresses this.

I am having a problem setting my timezone in preferences menu. I select US Central Time and select Save Changes. It stays there until I vist another screen (Such as fleets, production, etc). When I go back to HQ and then preferences, it has switched me back to GMT Western Europe Time. I changed it again and hit save changes and it still reverts back to Western Europe time. This seems simple enough, but am I missing something here or is this a bug?

Please advise...I am going crazy with this timezone issue

Think of it as of an advantage... That way you can communicate with all your alliance mates and use the same clock for orientation... For example, set a meeting at 10:00 STT /Spacetrace time / and no matter where they live, they'll be there at the same time

the timezone is not really implemented in the game yet. (we just thought it would be needed somehow)
at the moment it is only for information about the players.
it does not affect the game.
if you have an idea how it would be useful for the game, please tell us

but anyway - now you can save your timezone there, and also the font-size, if you have such a large resolution on your monitor, that you cannot read the small letters

I appreciate that. Thanks for fixing the save function.

Also, I love the Font size, but the only font it changes is in the pref menu and that looks great...Too bad this font size does not carry over to the other screens within the game (Fleets, Probes, Com, etc.)

@Admin...

Sorry...one more thing...

The Font Size you can save and the size will remain (for instance moving the font from 10 to 14). However, just like the timezone, whenever you hit save and then go to another screen and come back, the only thing saved was the 14 you put into the font size but the small letters are back to font 10? The font size number remains saved and the font will get bigger in the pref menu when you hit save, however, as soon as you navigate away from the pref menu, you go back to the small lettering you are used to...but the 14 still stays there.

No big deal, just thought you would like to know...

P.S. This game is the Shiznit!!

you are right,
but the reason is, because your browser keeps the stylesheet in its cache, so the new fontsize will only be visible, if you empty the files in your browser-cache

by the way,
why do you think,

the shiznit is a corruption of the word shit. It's used primarily by Snoop Dogg and his contemporaries. It's actually pretty old, like 5 years.

Just a "Old Figure of Speech". "The Shit" in the good sense of the word. Love the game, how it is built and that it works in real time. I like that when someone posts something in the forum, the admin's and others respond
