An ally had incomings, he was offline but had a full fleet.
I sent a defensive fleet to help out.
The attacker beat me to the planet by about one hour.
Somehow, I fought first. How can this be??
I know for sure as my allies fleets are still intact.
I thought battles occured in order as soon as someone was online at the planet. It was no big deal but, I would like to know how it happened. |

Battles happens so the base of the defending planet is allways the last battle that happens. at least that's the way it's been in all battles i've been in |

Ah no that is not right.
Battle order is random, but in this case, they should have fought long before I got there. |

the battle order is calculated correctly.
(fleets fight each other one after another, in that order they came to the same coords)
maybe your ally had a battle pause or protection ? |
