What I really need to know is: how long does a battle last. I find it very interesting for tactical reasons.
So is a battle over in just a split second, or is there a time (depending on the amount of ships e.g.) for the duration of the battle?
I haven't been online during a battle yet, so i didn't found out myself. |

once a battle started you have no chance to give commands. the battle will be simulated. It needs some seconds to calculate the battle. if you battle a group of fleets all battles will be calculated (one at the time ) and you can't change anthing during the calculation.
try to build the right fleet before you attack. After you send your space pilots into battle they are on their own .

Thanks, you helped me out! I did know that you can't change anything during battle, but the time that a battle lasts is indeed important to me so i can try a tactic.

the time is indeed only a split second, but you cannot access your fleets screen, for the time the server is calculating the results.
so that will last for up to 30 seconds, but i think you cannot use that for a tactic, if so, i would be curious which, and if that one is allowed (if you like, post it here or PM me) |

So are there tactics that are "not allowed" (if yes which ones)?

Can't say much yet, but it has something to do with a plagueship. Still working on the details but it will sure be allowed. |

if you are thinking of attacking twice.1) the plague ship infects the enemy.2)wipe out the infected it won t work. you can only attack an enemy once in a day |

That's right, but there are more players than me who can attack. When i read further the infected ships will self destruct in the next battle. And a next battle must be planned fast before the ships can be recycled.
