Conclusion: The plaqueships infected my fleet after each sub-battle. This is contrary to the manual an the examples for battle-syntax (mod_examples).
Looks like a bug to me.

you are right, it seems like the events that happen between the class battles add up

yeah that has ocurred in many time, and incluse a fleet without plague ship, infected my fleet in the BR but i dont have more nanoviruses

Now the plague ships do infect in each class 4 subbattle.
Another unexpected effect (at least for me) is, that the defensive array only destroyed nano viruses (maybe the infected fleet should be shuffled after infection).
