Do you actually use the map for coordinate your fleets and to orientate in the galaxy? 
I don't think it was made for that purpose.
But I agree that it would become handy (maybe at the alliance page) to see which members have built the transwarp-network and which haven't.

Sometimes it's useful that way. I think being able to see the path your fleet will take in space would make it more so.

i have to agree with darklim. if the map should be used for this feature, i think it would be neccessary to redo it totally. otherwise it would take hours to find out the shortest/fastest way to get to another planet using ally members. hours that you could save by flying there directly  |
