Attacking Class 4s

So...

Assuming the planet I want to attack has no Class 1, 2 or 3 ships, does the damage done in level 1 carry over to level 2?

I want to attack with a total of 3500 attack points...but not all in one class. Would I take out the shipyard if I attacked like this? Or do attack points not carry over in that manner?

you might want to send more attack points for if theres more then one building the attack points your sending will split and try to attack all the builds and if there still have there defence array its going to shoot 100 of your class 1's 40 of your class 2's and 4 of your class 3's ships

Yes the damage the fighters made, will remain in the class 2 vs class 4 battle and so on.
So 1000 fighters and 250 destoyers will destroy a shipyard.

But if you want to attack with a total of 3500 ap and the enemy doesn't have class 1,2,3 you should build 35 cruisers. Cruisers cost comparatively speaking the least mp.

I agree with the cruiser thing, but I actually HAVE the other ships ready for an attack...and would not have to wait the 10 hours to build them!
