I've been thinking ~I know thats crazy =)~ But how bout making it so that you can your your score like money? Look
1. There are certain planets scattered around the galaxy where you can dock and depending on the technology and your race you can buy tech that you can not build and the points you give up dissapears. Ex: You are a nanite and want the doomstar tech. You buy the research for 10000 because its a very powerful ship or maybe a evasor for 7000. Also if anyone was to come in with a fleet not in defence they will be destroyed. This will keep this from being another allince takeover thing
2. Manpower farms- This can fix the multithing from getting too much mp =) and i think it'll be a good idea for people who want more mp. You build this ship and u fing a prewarp planet at leat 600lys from you. You land it and you get 250mp for eachfarm, but you are limited to only 2. its obvious y the prewarp has to be 600lys because you need to be able to transport the mp. To build it you need to use 3000mp and 1000 points with 100/3000. When it lands it becomes a building and is not quite as strong as a regular building. the 3000mp is send back to base because the ship is now a building. it has its own defence system but its very weak. it destroys only 7/5/2/0.

1 is not an option sorry. Tech was shareable in round one, and the option has long been removed.
2 Similar ideas have been suggested before, and not taken up. |

| well tec_server, here is my defence. Wat you said about tech once being avalible to everybody is not the same idea i was talking about. I was meaning that your own score can be used to get certain technology you don't have, that way people have to sacrifice thier points for a tech they can use to maybe increase their score in the long run. You could do it so that only few of the tech that a race don't have can be bought. that way a race cannot have evry tech. Make sense now? |
