Because the enemy has only got 1 cruiser in class 3. And 1 cruiser of yours shot it, so the enemy has no class 3 ships left, that's why the class 3 subbattle is over and your apollos don't have to fight.

mmmhhhh...but they had to fight. i had won the battle and would had get points.

from what i see the class 2 ships battled and the ended the battle in class 2 ships if you had sent a fleet with no class 2 ships ur apollo's would have battle with the enemy's class 2 ships then your apollo ship would have battled the enemy's class 2 ships for all battles start with class 1;s battling class 1's and then move on to the next class of ship in the fleet.

ok. but if i had no class 2 the enemy class 2 ships would destroy all may class3, or not? did i make points or not without class2 ships on my side????

your had class 2's:The 19 troikas where ur class 2 ships in ur fleet so but having them in the fleet u sent they battled there class 2 ship and that ended the class 2 battle so both fleerts ur's and theres moved on to the class 3 ships for the next class to battle.

but to the ? of if u didn't have any class two ships in your fleet the enemy fleet had 662 eagles and 180 wasps the attacking power would add up to 4634 Ap's so yes u would have lost your apollo's and cruisers by my count maybe 46 of ur class 3 ship's but i might be off a couple ships

but if i had no clas two i would lost more points, cause his class2 had destroyed all my class3, or not?

yes u would have lost more points by him having them wasp added to his eagles witch give his eagles a ap of 7x662=4634

and they would directly attack your class 3

Apollos will only fire if there is an enemy to fire at, in this case, the cruiser was shot by one of yours, he had nothing left, so class 3 battle was over. Since you had a lot of cruisers the chances of the apollos firing at all were pretty slim against just one class three enemy.

This is a case where you can see how retro firing ships are more difficult to use than ships in a direct class fight.
