Should provide the MTWG orbiting abilities.
e.g. if my current position is 300/300/30, I should be able to command it to orbit round 299/299/29 |

Maybe... But in that case it'd be very difficult to destroy it, as it can be hitted only while it stops...
Perhaps a defense-array type of protection would be more suitable...
