in my fleet screen, i got a message like "hyperjump gate detected at xyz, ETA hh hours".
but when i enter the coords in my TTC, i get a travel time of about half of ETA (with warp 5). why?!

does the fleet at the hj-gate travel with less than warp5? then it mus be something like warp 2.784 to get this ETA....

in all cases i had so far, ETA and traveltime calculatet with the TTC at warp 5 were the same....?!

hmm, maybe the coords mean, where (and by whom) the hyperjump-gate was established and ETA when i have to expect the visitors...?
well, i'll see within 90 minutes... but i still wonder, when my vessel scan will wake up to tell me something 'bout the tourists...

I think that a Trace Probe record hyperjump :

it says the coord of arrival if it's coming in the trace area
or the destination of hj if it' leaving the trace area...

that's what I think... now..

so, the TTC can't say the coords, coz' U don't know : either the coord of start, or of stop

now... I'm perhaps totally false

No, I think you are wrong, becuase it is in the fleets screen, in the part the incomming appear(or sensors)
who say:(example without real bases)
sensors:
fleet one of anybody of whoknows at 476/222/33 (bla bla of bla bla) ETA 20000 years
and
incomings
code: your planet will be attacked by an asshole of species(sorry is personal)
that's what I think it is, and he can get the right coords of the time becuase he is calculating the time between that coords and his planet

cya
