Why my spectre didn't shoot ?
I'm disappointed because my spectre was killed the battle after and I 've lost my 800 points for nothing.... GRRRR
Please help ?
Maybe I didn't understand something?

1 chance on 242 for Ur spectre to shoot... it's small
therefore, Ur enemy got 161 ships...
so above 81 of Ur ships can't shoot...
therefore it has been killed before shoot, so he can't respond fire at the end of class 2 fight...
I think it's the reason.. now, I've seen funny (or puzzled) BR :wink:

You had bad luck, Renard.
Your fleet carried 200 destroyers and the enemy class2 fleet was only 182 ships big. So after 182 of your destroyers fired, all the enemy ships were destroyed and the class2 battle ends. Apparently you had the misfortune that your spectre came behind at least 182 of your destroyers. (I believe there is 9% chance for that to happen). |

demande à Sibari, y'en avait pas mal de chance pour que ton spectre ne fasse rien...  |

Believe me, I am not 
There was indeed about 1 chance on 1000 that his spectre was shot before returned fire (when his spectre was the first ship in his class2, the enemy had a destroyer or frigate as first ship and the enemy had the initiative), but Renard was not that unlucky

When the battle in 1 class starts, the ships are shuffled randomly and face each other; It's like this:
you - 3 fighters, enemy 1 mosquito 2 fighters
So a random shuffle should make:
You: Enemy:
1. Fighter 1. Fighter
2. Fighter 2. Mosquito
3. Fighter 3. Fighter
If the enemy shoots first:
enemy fighter1 kill your fighter1
your mosquito can't fire so your fighter3 kill enemy fighter1;
both enemy fighter2&fighter3 shoot at the mosquito, but can't kill it - they make 1+1=2 dmg, the mosquito has 3 LP, so it's a draw - you loose a fighter, the enemy looses a fighter
If you shoot first:
1. Your fighter1 kills enemy fighter1
2. Enemy fighter2 kills your fighter1
3. Your mosquito can't fight so your fighter3 kill enemy fighter2
4. Enemy fighter3 can't kill the mosquito
So now the enemy loses 2 fighters, you - 1, and gain a point...
That's why it's important who'll shoot first... |
