I have na idea, but i don`t understand the battle engine...
My idea are upgradeable buildings.
For example:
A shipyard Lv1 needs 10h to build a fighter.
A shipyard Lv2 needs only 8h to build a fighter.
The researchcenter is upgradeable the same way.
research center Lv1: needs for research 1d.
research center Lv2: needs for research 20h.
I think this could be a good invention.
Some ships could made to: "needs shipyard Lv2"
But i think there should be an maximum level of 3 or 4.

nice idea, but I don't think that the research center should be upgradeable...
but cancel the research would be great  (lol pj)
ship with lvl needed is a good thing (i think) fun and enjoyable  |

really a nice idea !!!
chancel researches is needed, i think.
so maybe lvl 1 Research center is without cancel, lvl 2 with abort Button and some nice new features maybe.

| i like them both and in addition it makes it more even for those who joined earlier and have less manpower becuase they can have these upgrades before the newbies do =) |
