most people wanting to play such games either hear it from other online games or from the online games review site (couple of famous ones out there) so if you really wanna promote you got to get people to go ahead and vote on those sites.. and you need alota people to do so... somewhere around 100's... now we know considering the size of this game that is not a very easy task and it has been asked of people before to go ahead and do so with not much sucess.. so i could think of 2 ways of making them more willing to do so.
1st. put some kinda award system for people that go ahead and vote in this sites. (its kinda hard to come up with a award that would make most of the guys go ahead and do it at an at the same time not make the game unequal to the people that havn't)
2nd. (and easier one) setup a introduction page (like the ad page in most sites) and in it set the couple of good sites and instruct people that untill the go ahead and vote in those sites they will get the "promotional page" and have to watch it for 30 seconds before they can actully login to there account (EVERY TIME till they vote).. now i'm sure nobody wants to see that twice so you'll get basically every active player that wants to check the site voting for you in those sites...
now i'm no programs but i've seen it done before.. either option you pick (if either) it's gona take some programing but the end result could be worth it.

Also remember there is MANNNY online games on the net. you have to sell the game. when i go to a website and i read about this game i like to find something diffrent about it that would attract me to it. i mean there is literly 1000's if not more of online games out there 100's simmilar to this one. what is it that makes spacetrace diffrent from all other?
think about it. try to answer the question and once you can sell it to your self why you have been in love with thisgame for soo long. than you can sell it to others too (a lil advise from my business prof.. sell it to your self before you try to sell it to anyone else)
and please don't ever leave the extra comments part empty on rating website.. give as much detail as you can about the game

these techniques are forbidden.
on most game sites they ban you if they find out you force players to vote
just go to our vote page on the start page and vote on all sites that are listed there, that is the only thing we can do |

How about a huge spacebattle, with 10 people fighting one. The 10 are using adavnced ships and stuff. And after a lot of explosions and lasers, the guy wins. He sais: I can win with just a few basich ships, and with skill. Thats spacetrace.
That would make a nice movie.

do you have a multi billion $ budget cos i dont and if i did after donating a lot of money to the admin the admin wouldn't need anymore help in promotion
