If he wants to learn ST then join a alliance with NOOB helpers, make fleet set up, attack some one, and learn from youre BR, thats the only way to learn how the ships work.
There are enough NOOB helpers who want to teach newbie's, The most VETS want also more players in ST because 150 is a little less.
