For the good and standard players, this ship is too unbalanced. It eliminates the need for transwarp gates, as you could go that fast anyways, and if you did use a gate you would go way too fast, unbalancing the benefit of the gates.
Like I said, I, who use primarily class one and two, and most of the time no class three, would benefit greatly from this, as a standard mothership is now practically obsolete. If I really wanted class to block class three, I could always use missile launchers.
With a 12 minute travel time through one sector, I can almost always beat my enemy to his destination, remove my class four, and fight him with lower classes only. In fact, hiding six sectors from a scoreplanet will only give me a 50 minute eta on the scoreplanet, so I could still beat most fleets there as I see them enter my dsp. Heck, I can even wait 10 sectors away and still beat others to it.
10 sectors would be travelled in 2 hours, 5 minutes. Transwarp gates and vessel scans would be obsolete as well. Every time you log on, you will have another battle report, from some incoming you only had for three hours from across the galaxy.
What about the "Train of Death"? Yes, thats where several alliance members go around together, in order, smashing bases. The first alliance members hit the fleets, and the last one hits the base with all penguins. You would be able to wipe out an entire alliance's homeplanets in a weekend, and then start over and do it again.
Im saying this ship is too fast and too cheap to enter ST. I know better. |
hmmm... alright, just one question.. who voted yes then? two people have already but i voted "Good invention, needs some changes".
Plus im only trying to defend it.. your guys job is to attack.
And Butcher.. whats your coords? i wanna go against your c1 + c2 fleets easily wiped out with some strategic planning
Also Butcher I got to admit that your arguement is the strongest i've seen.. while other lame people just go with the flow and say "NO GOOD". I hate that and it annoys me. It tells me nothing besides that they can spell. Butcher and Blackmagic are the only ones really to give a deep decription of what wrong... Hats off to you guys _________________ -==Frag the Weak, Hurdle the Dead.==- |
