i dont think that so a big plŕoblem, cause it would accellerate ofver time. if you cahnge course it goes down to the startin speed anyway

admin, you've done a great job of adding ways to make fleets go faster. warp gates, time slippers/fleet tenderers/lowrider, and now more recently you've added chrono pods. but all of these require a bit of strategy. chronopods require a chronomine, faster ships either require more mp or a huge risk to your fleet, and warp gates aren't everywhere in the game. this means that for players that want to go faster, a bit of strategy is necessary. since this game is all about strategy these technologies are perfect. it'd be a shame to negate them with the boost being discussed.

i am not planing to add this, but anyway, i thought it would boost only the existing strategic increasements anyway.

noone planned to increase the normal warpsspeed,

only initiated transwarp-tunnels by wormholes, cronoposd or TWNs were suggested to be boosted over time. this would keep all strategic aspects, like they are now

did you think of this, when you decided against this suggestion?

aah. ok. that makes more sense.

i'm still note sure if i like it though. constant speeds have always been nice and predictable both for your own fleets and those you see on the dsp.

oh ok. i thought it was applied to all travel times. when applied only to strategic boosts (warp gates, chronopods), this idea sounds a little better, but i still think its unnecessary.
