When I first came back to ST I noticed the new-fangled-look of the ST navigation panel, the one with wings and such that matches the new ST front page. Now after setting my preferences I decided to go retro with the older ST nav panel. Not exactly a bug (or might it be?) so I apologize if my topic is misplaced but my question is this:

How do I change back to the new navigation panel look? In "Preferences" -> "Look of your SpaceTrace" -> "Navigation panel" it has 5 selectable options: "Standard" (which I am using), "With Short-Cuts", "Original", "Simple" and "New" but none of these actually sets my panel back to the new aforementioned style, only the old ones and variants thereof. I changed it originally because when I came back the new panel was foreign to me and I opped for one I was more familiar with while I relearned the game but now I find myself wanting to switch back to the more youthful style. Anyone know how I can switch back? I have checked everywhere I can think of so if it is something obvious it eludes me.

you have to select the style called "float"

maybe it is a bug, and in internet explorer, that option is missing?

Yes apparently it is because the option for the 'float' style is missing.
I am using InternetExplorer8 v8.0.6001.18702 and I had changed styles during the tutorial (ending it and leaving it incomplete) if that is relevant at all.

Sorry I thought I already posted here following up.

Yes this bug has been worked out, for me atleast. The "Float" style option reappeared for me several days ago.

Since my brief return, I've only used my mobile to play; I haven't been on a computer, so that might be relevant to my question. When I first logged in, my mobile was using the old ST format (which I prefer). I forget exactly what I did, but somehow my mobile reset back to the new "winged" layout. I've been trying to figure out how to switch back, but on my mobile there is no option to change the layout.
Did y'all remove that option, or is it just not available on my mobile?

P.S.
While I'm at it here, the Map and the Battle Sim. Is not mobile friendly, either. I wasn't able to use them on my phone.

Other than jamming vital information out for useless graphic logos this new interface has a problem with being resized esp on Mozilla Firefox...frames get placed on top of each other or sized out of sight
