after 2 eras of testing, it is clear that st is quite fun and a good mix between casual gaming and power gaming - finally st has the how-can-i-grow element (first newbie question).
i think st is still really complex for beginners, but it is much more easy to start, than ever before.
so we can consider it as ready to go - esp. if we implement the last missing key stones for next era.

we need 100+ active players - any help, thoughts welcome.

pls. help us

we need to do some heavy forum spamming. its dirty work, but quite straightforward.
we should think about who is our target group. what forums we should advertise in. programmers forums come to mind, also mmo sites forums, maybe we should try and advertise on other mmo-s forums.

It really blew my mind when I came back to see only 45 or so active players after all these years. Its no wonder you are trying to rebuild a playerbase! I for one will do my part in spreading the word and trying to recruit new members to the ST universe. When I next talk to them I will try to relight a flame of interest in my old allies SirTaz & Lord Bejeeta. If anyone is willing to give it a go, its old players like us who know the game's true potential. Its very nostalgic for me coming back and I think that is part of the appeal. What was old is new again. Now lets reach 100!

all browser games lost players during the last 3 years - also,
we as the admins were quite inactive for a time, but it was necessary to get some distance to decide in which direcetion this game should evolve.

the last year we worked harder than ever and we will make st a complex strategy simulation with an easy start for beginners .

the colony game plays a big role - at first it looks simple but combined with tactical operations (the heart of st) - it becomes a strategy hit

we will work on the interface - more maps and convenience features.

we dont need 10k of players for st - as this was never meant as something commercial - it's just the browsergame we wanted

a healthy minimum for st would be at least 80 colony gamers + any number of veterans.

it will work
