aggressive probe
this probe emits a powerfull graviton particle charge that finds and disables all probes (including itself and ally probes) within its scarandius, it activates immediatley on arrival and automatically destroyes itself after activation.
after activation it sends out the message "your probe has been deactivated by... (player name)"

this 1 I like , only lower the researchtime and buildingtime to 3 days . also it should be no race like all other probes otherwise it would be unfair against other races _________________ Greetz Connor

I like the concept as well Conner although there are a couple things that should be explained further such as whether affected probes are destroyed or just disabled for a specific length of time. Either effect is good but should be explained. I perfer destruction to disablement.
Some will say there are probes/ invader ship combo's that will do similar effects to what this ships claims however, there are no "fast" countermeasures to probes. |

Second thoughts about this probe sway me to think it is no good as well.
I agree with Failtrip1.
Reason is ...it would be too easy to wipe out someone's defensive probe and follow with a new dsp of your own timed to arrive a couple minutes after the aggressive probe. It would be used constantly and there would be no defence for it. |

Hmm OK that is right , I thought U could use it at Score planets , but if you put it like that , maybe there should be some things immune against it like Vessel scan . I also think eye in the sky isn't affected by this probe _________________ Greetz Connor

duh, eye in the sky is not affected, cause its a ship. Maybe change the name to probe-destroyer, or whatever, but basicly its a good idea. yet some probes should be immune. like investigation probes, or probes still in your base (vessel scan included) Things such as anticloaking probes, dsp's, trace probes, and the like, should be affected though. _________________

lower the times otherwise you might as well just use a scrambler _________________ "Although the constant shadow of certain death looms over everyday, the pleasures and joys of life can be so fine and deeply affecting that the heart is nearly stilled by astonishment" - Dean R Koontz |

If it had warp 10 you could send this then a deep scan seconds later.
Ruin enemy scanners and place your own.
Good Idea |
