I know if it modified AP/DP it will take out the other ship that modified it no matter which class it is. But my question is, if a Destroyer attackes it head on 10/10 vs Evap. does the Evap win also or does the Destroyer just own it. I think I know the answer but reading the discription was confusing for me

Correct
Destroyer Wins your senario.

destroyer (class 2 ship)
attack/life: 10/10
manpower: 8
(battle engine syntax: f)

evaporator (class 1 ship)
attack/life: 1/2
manpower: 12
(battle engine syntax: f)
(battle engine syntax: trigger_plus@kill,enemy,1,this,all,evaporator destroys)
(battle engine syntax: trigger_destroy@kill,enemy,1,this,all,evaporator destroys)

Because the destroyer just has a fight command.
The battle engine will process the fight comands of the 2 ships only.
Ignoring the other 2 commands of the evapoator.

Score evap fleet - 12

Actually, it's evap fleet -12.

The evap will just fight, and be unable to kill the destroyer.
The destroyer will have no problem zapping the evap with one shot.

Another thing: the evap might not kill the exact ship that modified it, instead it will evaporate 1 enemy ship in the class it is fighting.

It seems AP modification doesn't work, only LP modification. This means a cyclops, or a defense array, or a sporator will set it off. A commando fighter will not.
Guys, this is correct, no?

It evaporates ship that is next in line and when there are no more targets It goes back to those that all ready fought(In case you attack swank with evaps all c3 is usually gone if you stack enough evaps)Well that is If my theory is right.

For AP modification I think that this trigger :

3.trigger_destroy it modifies LP by -5000 of 1 ship of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in the same class but some ships and buildings are immune against this effect
battlemessage: "evaporator destroys ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: trigger_destroy@kill,enemy,1,this,all,evaporator destroys)

override this one here:

2.if this ships LP or AP are increased or decreased it modifies LP by -5000 of 1 ship of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in the same class but some ships and buildings are immune against this effect
battlemessage: "evaporator destroys ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: trigger_plus@kill,enemy,1,this,all,evaporator destroys).

I think thats why AP modification doesnt work and in my opinion only third trigger should be taken out for AP modification to work.

But then again I might be wrong.
