To Get ST Going

Well ive been lurking around and the forum is decreasing in activity as well as the game, i had fun when this game was all out war, i liked it because of how easy it was to get ships and research, but this game is becoming outdated by other newer games, the new spacegames like ogame are outdoing it with the number of things you can do there, for ST to start going again, i think you all will have to start advertising it like crazy, or the admin can add some new elements into the game, such as videos, different pictures, redo some of the colors, add some new ships, add some 3D space fights, etc, it has to get some new updated things, i know that its not as easy as click and go, but for this game to get going again it needs to start getting new things i think.

I now what u mean, but have u ever take a look about how many people are working for Ogame??? The peeps who created ogame, SGO's, GO's, Forum admins, Forum Mods. And if u want extra options in Ogame u need to pay for it.

And if u want to go advertsing for ST, it will cost money.

How sad it will be, but i think ST is walking to slowly the light of eternity.

Spring is in the air in the Northern hemishere and many people are enjoying being outside. When it gets cold I think the numbers will increase.

Having said that, in Europe at least we are approaching the Summer term where the internet gaming community is at its highest - the period between July 15th - September 10th (or just 'August' in particular) will probably see the biggest surge in Spacetrace players. Including the fact that much of the east - China.. Japan, Australia etc. are actually approaching Winter now - which acounts for around 40% of the world's total population.


But of course, there are many factors that could change such things. There have been countless numbers of these 'get going' threads - many of them initiated by myself , yet none have sadly been too successful. I think, or, I would hope that this thread below details everything that needs to be done to create an exponential amount of players.

If we accomplish ALL of those things, with no doubt we WILL get more players, possibly into the hundreds with any hope!

Sad but true , we are down to 76 players . lets say 20% are inactive , so what fun is it for new players to join .
and when you look at the top 10 you see that #1 is scoring allot ( sorry Imp , but it sure smells like farming) most experienced players are having fun at the BH ( don't think it will stay funny out there ) , or playing low profile . Also the problem with the score planets haven't been solved after more then a week ( Admin is inactive aswell again )
So if the owners aren't willing to put in energy to make this game bigger / better / more crowded . it will be the end .
If nothing is done by the owners , then in opinion ST will be over after summer

hey, i got a couple of ideas what i was wondering if they'd been tried. obviously by looking at my rank you can tell i'm stil getting to grips with this but how about

one of the more experianced vets make a group on facebook (don't know how popular facebook is in other countries so bare with me) or other networking sites like that. we all join, the invite goes to our friends and then they have the chance of joining as well. although personnaly im kinda strapped for cash pn a massive skale we could still advertise ST without having to spend anything yet. otherwise i'm taking out a loan and donating it to the game (jks, i dont think a bank would grant a 17 year old a loan for this but worth a try)
