clockwork-fighter (class 1 ship)

the clockwork fighter is a perfect equilibrium of ancient mechanics and space-age technology. it is based on the drawings of an old human inventor and artist. in the core of the clockwork fighter ticks a heart that is so simple and yet so complicated it is driven by time itself. the clockwork fighter gains one lifepoint and two attack points every time it activates, but if it gets more than 6 lifepoints the fighter´s core overcharges and blows up.

(battle engine syntax: mod,self,1,1,itself,+,2,1,clockwork fighter charged up)
battle engine syntax: select,life,more,6
self destructs!
battlemessage: "clockwork fighter was overcharged and killed itself ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: sd,clockwork fighter was overcharged and killed itself)

the berserk function seemed pretty interesting so i invented this. i think it's hard to balance it enough to put in the game, but its an interesting concept.

one of these against a fleet of just fighters is massacre because fighters keep his lp from "overheating". but if there are non fighting ships like mosquitos it will eventually blow itself up. also against pengs it will die on first shot. and its hard to mix it in a fleet with other ships. because then the beserk function will not be useful anymore. unless you fight against c2.
against c2 and c3 it will pump itself to 13/6 and blow up next time it gets a shot.

very hard to use, but very interesting.

btw i'm not very sure about how the "select" function works exactly, so this ship might not work the way i wanted it to.
