what else did you change then on last thursday?

that was also the day, the era ended

and it seems, that durago has his soundpath set in preferences on
Code:
file://C:\\\\games\\\\spacetrace\\\\
which is used for game extensions also and has too many backslashes, this would lead to javascript erors

correct would be
Code:
file://C:\games\spacetrace\

or just leave that field empty, it will add the correct path then itself

Thanks for the info admin, I will check out my settings. I did not change anything last Thursday just logged on to send my probe off and found the problem with the probe then, thats also when I noticed the errors, but they could have been there before?

I will clear spacetrace of my laptop and clear all files then load it on again and see what happens.

if you see the problem again, please write down the time and the pages, you visited before the error occured and tell us as fast as possible.

i guess it depends on the pages you visited before, caue on one page a variable is changed, that creates the wrongcalculations.

2nd DSP in a row activated at my base, and I'm using FF... Although, on a mac, not a pc, could that be the problem?

don't think this is about the browser we're using, i have FF and another dsp started at base!...can't say it was a bad thing this time, got a player flying around that i wasn't aware, if not for the dsp!!
that aside, this situation is not the best

i'm using also FF on a mac (like orange), but no probe malfunctions in my case. the reason for all this should be something different.

or could it be, that it showed the distance to your mobile-twg, or so?

maybe the probe thought it was at the position there and activated

maybe: could it be disactivated again by logging off and on again?

we updated something, maybe it fixed, although we never were able to create the bug ourselves.

it could have had something to do with the production-queue, or if a battle took place with someone, that had some productions finished the moment the battle happened
