Ok, I sent me DSP to some co-ordinates, of which of course I can't say. Anyway, those co-ordinates were in my com-list.. and my DSP found nothing when I sent it exactly to those co-ordinates. I'm not sure what happend so.. either it was a copy error in the 'pasting list' bit in the com-list or somethings wron with my DSP :S.

How long since that player last logged off? After 8 days they go "inactive" and invisible to dsp as well as (bugs have occured with this) not "confronting" fleets.
The listing in comm will remain in inactives (more bugs in this sometimes) until auto-deletion?
Or the player hit 100% evo got, hit by dominian and there is nothing there to show on dsp or confront anything. Name will remain as "active" as long as the player logs on regualarily

The target might have evo'd out by the time the probe arrived.
That's been known to happen.

Send an investigation probe to the area, and get a read on if they're still there.

*Edit* Renee's post wasn't there when I started writing, so don't tease me for not reading her post. I didn't. *edit*

There is another possiblity.

The base you put you probe on was wiped out before your probe got there and it still had not rebuilt. How long did you leave the probe om?
