...what does it do?
Just trying some setups involving SG's, and they aren't working as i thought they would...!
..if a sporator in c1, gives +1 lp to all c1/c2, than my c2 would have 11 lp in their sub battle, having the enemy's destroyers 10 ap, my SG's should protect my destroyers...that is not happening!! You ppl that have tried setups with SG's, have something to say? plz do !

say you have 50 destroyers and 50 shield gens and the enemy has 100 destroyers.

when the battle happens you will most likely lose all your ships. when the last shield gen gets destroyed your shielded ships go with it. and there is a chance that your shield gens will only protect each other and your destroyers would never get shielded.


and you said you had a sporator. from what i have seen to sporator gives all c1 c2 ships in both fleets +1, the sproator works with a few setups. a better choice is interceptors and wasps if you can build them.

The way you want it to work out (aka the ideal):

1 sporator in c1 gives +1 ap to all c1 and c2 then.

c2 battle:

1 destroyer vs. 1 destroyer
1 sg vs 1 destroyer (50/50 chance it will shield the above destroyer (10/1) that has survived OR sheild itself)
and so on the enemy c2 alternates on your destroyers and sg's until done with all turns (and a MAX of 50% of your destroyers get saved).

and now for reality:
1 sg vs 1 destroyer (you lose the sg and no damaged ship yet for it to shield on)
and the above again OR
1 destroyer vs. 1 destroyer (likely an "even trade")
1 sg vs 1 destroyer (same as above result)

so as you can see we can come up with more reasons this wont work as expected rather than it will.

sg's use is rather tricky and uncertain (50% of my sg use is as cheap fodder)
