I have noticed a number of code errors on both sides in this lovely battle.
The new alliance code system was brought in to prevent inter alliance battles when one ally used code at another allies base.(This happened often and was very frustrating)
But, the new system does not protect you from friends who use your code.
It only protects you from members of your alliance.
Friends should only use code when attacking an enemy. If they use your alliance code, and are trying to defend you, they will always fight fleets set on blue/defense.
At the same time, if they come to defend you, and, are set on defense, they will still fight your fleets if your fleets are set on code.
I hope this makes sense. It is quite confusing I know. |

It happened to me too... One friend outside of the alliance used the code, so he destroyed my shipyard without facing my fleet...

Yeah, I know this problem too, killing a shipyard by a friend ...
but like said in the manual, in a base, U must be in defence, outside, with attack code
remember !!!! it cost a lot like methody says |

Now that's an interesting dilema
He was allready in my base when I arrived, he fought with the enemy yet killed my shipyard
But the dilema is this - you fight with the fleet and save the base or you save the base and fight the fleet....

it's easy :
- U stay in defence U and Ur friend, and U kill the enemy coz' he's not on defence
- U are in defence, Ur ennemy don't attack U, nice, U can make what U want, U got now 24h before next (even without battle, U still need 24h for next combat)
- Ur friend stay in defence, U wait till the guy want to destroy U, if he isn't in attack, he can't shoot U again, U got 24h for call Ur team mate
that's all
defence is niceeeeeeeeeeeee ! |

Yes, just put defense all the time!(except when you wnat to attack, than you can put attack or an attack code )
But I really want to know the species members and allies attack code

Yeah right! Due to that @#$@$#@! defense once some guy stayed on my planet fighting with my allies passing through there, inflicting heavy casualties yet not fighting with me /as my fleet was in-base/, after that it told me 24 hrs till next confrontation...
He acted like an U-boat
