I keep getting this error:
* Connecting to irc.dal.net (6663)
-
* Unable to connect (Can't assign requested address)
Please help, i cannot figure this out!

Try the random euirc server
irc.euirc.net
ports 6665-6669
groups euIRC
or just type /join irc.euirc.net then /join #spacetrace, that should do it I think. |

yes, i can connect to any other server including the euIRC server that you listed for me, bu i really need to connect to dal.net.irc since I know those people in the channels and i have not been able to get on irc.Dal.net for about a month now.
This error only occurs when i try connecting to irc.dal.net any other server is fine.

| afaik, dalnet is having trouble with their servers because there are much channels with dcc-transfers and they slow down the whole dalnet. so they shut down all their servers and reconfiguring but i dunno how long this will take and if they will ever be back online |
