The British coverage is good. Gabby Logan presents the evening slot. We've won a medal for almost everyday so far .

take note world that is how Britain does a ceramony with Led Zepplin rocking out on a bus with neon lights

i actually though the chinese tower thing they did was really cool, well done for that China

i think everybody in England thought the same thing when they saw Borris Johnson walking down the stadium

"Oh no please don't piss anyone off"

for all those who dont know who Borris Johnson is he is the Mayor of London who decided he wanted to become the Mayor when his bike got robbed (if he cant look after a bike hows he going to look after a city???)

and yes he does look like the guy from little Britain

still it could have been worse we could have had Alister Campbell at the ceremony

that would have been bad

Lol yeah.

england is so cool it rocks. leona lewis and jimmy page on top of a london bus playing a classic english rock song, david backham kicking a football into two chinese guys and boris johnson with his rubbish flag waving and unbuttoned tuxedo shaking hands with an amazed Mayor of Beijing.

The chinese tower thing was cool though. Shame one had to wade through hours of happy clappy athletes parading around the stadium to see it.

Edit:

I found this a few minutes ago:

Quote:
First, Boris Johnson apparently lost the buttons from the front of his jacket and then spent the next five minutes trying to find them in his trouser pockets. Then, obviously locating one from time to time, insisted on waving his find in an apologetic fashion to the worldwide television audience, while the Mayor of Beijing and Jacque Rogge maintained the stature and dignity of people who had bothered to check their wardrobe, representational status and etiquette beforehand.

The real olympics might have finished.. put the paralympics are still on...

See.. here's the medal table:

GB are second! Don't you think it's funny how such a small country can be so wonderful?

Yes. Poland really are the thinking man's country.

But come on, all British people live in Poland anyway.. oh wait..I forgot... it's the other way round...

Just kidding, but I've just thought of two ways to insult your nation. Can you think of 2 insults against my country?

Probably.

And they'll be good insults too.

Yeah like who listens to your king or queen?
I guess not
I also know that if you guys during the twelve hundreds went towards Poland you guys would've ran with your coats between your legs.
