Scientists said today they have "found proof" of water ice on Mars away from the polar ice caps, a discovery made by NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander.

The finding is a crucial first step toward learning whether the ground on Mars is hospitable, because all life as we know it requires water. Now scientists can get on with the business of studying the chemistry of Mars dirt in more detail.

theres no such thing as global warming. Its just the natural life cycle of the earth. And it was made up by an ex-president to keep himself famous... lol

It's all a waste of money that can be used better, and even if the global warming is natural it's no exuse for all the gasses and other poisens we polute the planet with.
I think that money should be uses for something else, the US has big trouble now, wouldn't a couple of milion dollors from some of those projects be helpfull? Or atleast to spend it on ways to have less poor people in your own country. Atleast something that helps, finding out if there was life on mars isn't helpfull to me, it's only helpfull to the people that get paid to do it because they make money doing it.

Hatred will never end, discrimination/racism will never end, war will never end. There are some countries that will have to keep making wepons to keep themselves and their citisens around. But all the money spent goign to space isn't needed. Use it for the problems on earth, or atleast use some of it to explore the sea( I think they know less about the ocean and what is in it then what they know about space).
