moonbat (class 1 ship)


the moonbat is a spherical-shaped ball of steel with two outer wings to support balance and to make it mobile. inside the neuron shell are 45 tons of kazuunium, a deadly kazuulian-made gel which thrives off of metal such as steel and iron. when in battle the moonbat will do 85 damage to a class 3 ship. because of its immense speed the moonbat cannot aim directly onto class 1´s or class 2´s as they are too small of a target, however, a class 3 ship has a weak enough shell and is a well sized target for the moonbat. the moonbat will crash into the c3 doing around 40 damage, and then, once a manetic charge makes the two ships stick together, realeases the deadly kazuunium everywhere, thus doing a further 45 damage.

the description is more interesting than the syntax itself
by the syntax this is what it does:

fights in c1 battle, kills one c1 to -83 or so, then kills one class 3 and leaves it reconstructable. then it takes 10 hits to die.

it's way overpowered...with 80 or so of these you can take down a base and fight off any fleet that has even a few c3 ships with a positive score. : D


interesting, but unbalanced.
i don't like it, but if i'd have to balance it i'd guess something like this. make it a 0/1 ship with reducing one enemy c3 to 0 lp, but only if it fights c3 directly. it does absolutely nothing against c1 and c2, but if it fights an exposed c3 it kills one target. 10-15mp.

or something like that.

Killing C3 for 10-15mp...? :O
Something like this with your noted changes would still be too strong. I'd say at the very minimum 40 mp, though 50mp would be best.
Don't forget, it kills in one hit, so if it fights C3, you make points no matter what. And considering all you need is a ship in C1 and a ship in C2 to arrange that... 10-15mp is too little

then holo-clone ship is even more overpowered. 12 mp for copying one enemy c3's abilities and still being somewhat effective against class 2 although losing points there. it's effect is just as good, but costs even less.

but as i said...i don't like this new invention. just saying it would be balanced because you will always lose points against c1 and c2.
