It's different.
The most time, the base fight is the first fight.
But sometimes the enemy fleet will fight first against fleet 1 or 2. |

NO, it is random, if you find the base is fighting first, it is just a co incidence,(a funny one granted)

Well, it sort of depends what is coming, but as a very general rule 2 is better than one.

two fleets of fighters in base will probably hurt an attacker. |
