I am here to make an announcement.

*oddysee music*

We will be organising a GRAND WAR without vets!

Now, this will be more of a learning experience, as newbs are not blasted away by vets. This will be equal. The we i just named, will be me, Microjak, and another guy. The GRAND WAR will be like the other one, except that vets will be denied entry. Who is a vet, also known as veteran, and who is not, will be decided by me, Microjak, and the other guy. It will be in the new era, and it will be longer then the previous GRAND WAR. We have not decided on an exact date.

Join up now!

If you are a newbie, relatively new, or just not yet a vet, PM me! I will decide together with the others, if you are allowed in.

And now, for the rules:

1. Members who are under suspicion of multiing, will not be allowed/will be questioned before being allowed access.

2. People who apply after the closing date, will be accepeted as reserves, meaning that if another member drops out for any reason, this person will be put in.

3. Every member must tell their score from the start, so that we may fairly keep score. If you gain/lose points because of a reason other then the GRAND WAR, you must report this and give the battle reports.

4. You may not make a new acount and act like you are new. If you do, and it is found out, your score will not count towards your teams total score.

5. The commitee's decision is FINAL.

6. You may not ''spy'', or in other words, give crucial information to the opposing team.

7. You may not group up on one or more players, you may only fight 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, etc. This is flexible, it must be 2 on 2 etc. on the course of around 1 day.

8. The commitee will count score, and as it has 3 members, everything will be triple checked. See rule 5.

So what are you waiting for? Vets: Give comments.
Newbs or semi-vets: Sign up!

P.S: Lowvoice, we are asking you to become the third member of the commitee, if you decline the offer, we will ask someone else.

P.P.S: The basic idea was though up by T2. Thank you.

well, umm.... good point. But if he wins, we will investigate. and if he loses, well, hes not really a vet..

and why would they want to do it anyway?

*whispers with commitee* *notices commitee isnt online* err... well find a way... or we could have admin check IP's of known vets with team members...

Looks like a good idea to me... Though i agree with Phoenix' statement: How can u seperate someone from a vet? Ofcourse, there are obvious vets, like lowvoice and Connor, but people like me and say erm... AL12, what are they? Semi-vets? Semi-Noobs? We both have about the same expirience.

Go for it boys. Most Vets will respect your wishes I'm sure. You may want to canvass the 2 newb alliances for recruits ?
You should also post the final participants and/or use a tag system again to define players.
It should be very interesting and fun. I wouldn't worry too much about multi's because there is no way they can know what team they will be on. Also, it would be not much fun if you had access to both teams...why bother to not have fun?

Making the time limit longer is probably not a good idea. If anything , make it shorter. 14 days is a long time to keep interest and intensity. It would work better for 7 days and then, if you want, reshuffle the players and do it again.
1 week is more than enough time to determine if the teams are lopsided or evenly matched.

Use a "when started" date to determine eligibility...say 2 evo's. Anyone who has more but feels they lose to much, could go under special consideration by the organizers.

Hope you have fun !

3 evos straight, u do the maths.
I think 10 days would be good. Long enough to reach the peek, and short enough not to be boring.

I took into consideration another rule:

you may not intentfully destroy a persons shipyard. This means you may not destroy his ships, and have someone else destroy the shipyard. accidental destroying of a shipyard is allowed. basicly, dont try to destrpy the shipyard.

This rule could be implemented if it beomes one week long or so. And il go round the newb alliances.

i have informed twilight force. Tag system will be same as last war. red and blue.

We have made up this rule to resolve the problem of wether a noob is not a noob, or "noob-faking".

Rule Addition 03.

We have to make sure who is good and who is not so good. If a non-newb enters, (them being a pro who is likely to dominate, or a pro secretly entering as a noob for easy points), The commitee needs to decide at the end of the war who is possibly a pro. If it is decided that they are a pro (with further investigation*) then their score will not count towards the final score.

* A carfull process of deciding this rule is used. Battle Reports will be a main feature of this process, and a trustworhty vet may be used to assess the battle reports, concluding wether of not this battle report is professional/newb-like.

The part with *, is not yet official, I need to ask KoT is this extension can be used.

Also Lowvoice will your on here do you want to join the commitee?

Anyone else who wants to join the comitee please pm me or KoT, and we shall decide.

Any newbs who want to join private message KoT or me(Knight of Truth)

Thankyou!
