Another benefit is the ability to welcome new players to the game personally. Right now, they join and disappear before anyone even knows they gave ST a try.

Indeed...thats why this alliance is need it...to personally welcome new players..its not that important who, where will they fight...They fight whoever they choose to,but instead of building 18 MS to hit BH,someone will be there to advise them...If they get gangbanged...well tough luck...next time choose your targets more carefully...
It would be just there to give some starting tips, welcome them and to present Spacetrace as interesting as it is...

Admin plz reconsider this one...

this sounds very sound.

i think we will add it to the game.

is it enough if we add every new player to the newbee alliance?

Well...that certainly would be a great start Admin... We would need leaders who are long on patience however and the leader position should be changed up on occassion.
Since this post started, Connor worked the Fool's Gold alliance into #1 spot.
I do not know the number of new players Connor was able to help out but there is 1 near my base who is still playing so that says something I think.

The Trailer Park also took in a dejected player as I mentioned and he is still playing . We (connor & I ) tried to collaborated on opponents of similar skill but the Trailer Park only got 1 new member and his level of attendance was somewhat restricted making it difficult to provide reliable competition for Connor's . He has found more time as of late to play more regular and is still a member of the Trailer Park

A little effort does make the difference in our membership growth.

In connor's FG we are with 3/4 good players who have trained some noobs, i'm still holding FG, as soon as the GW is over, connor will return to FG ( thats what he told me). so we can continue training noobs. so when we have 5 noobs en there are 2/3 noobs who are keeping playing ST, than we keep on going on with this alliance.

That would probably work admin. It will make it tough on guys who like to build "instant alliances" from their many accounts but it's not our job to make it easier on cheaters.

I also have not decided if the Trailer Park wants to become a full fledged training alliance. It takes more than 1 person and all the guys from the park would get a say as well as to the direction the alliance will take.

These ideas are worth hashing out for solutions.

Yeah, this would work I and NEPHILIN are in a newb alliance in another game, I don't play it anymore, but it did help.

It sent a message to you saying 'the newbie alliance would has given you an invite to it's alliance' Click 'Yes' to accept membership'

Perhaps something like this, but without having to enter the Tag and Password.

This has been kinda a talked over.TA would be there just to greetz new players show them around game and to get familiar with it.No need for 2 of them and we have to make sure that this wouldnt be used in evil pruposes so no leader only vet players to greetz and instruct new players.Nothing more and nothing less

At start of next round, I'll take on tudoring 1 alliance if Failtrip1 will take on teaching the counterpart alliance
I'm afraid I won't get to fight him in the GW before it ends
after a few weeks, I'll look for a replacment.
I'll have to get back to the "Park" to help with the Ice wine bottleing and distillation.

I think the name should be 'newbie alliance, and every new player should receive an invitation when they log on for the first time into the newbie alliance.

It needs to be called

newbie instead of noob, beucase this is professional and appealing.
