I think that everyone needs to get hit....once. What I do is first assume that a new evo around me is a new player . Evans can vouch for that fact. I then tell the "new" guy to expect an attack and also some hints to defend himself or what I'll have in my fleet. I lose to them lots of times but it gives encouragment to new players and it's only a few points...no big deal to have an ally in the future.
I know Evans has provided assistance to our players from time to time with regard to fleet set-ups and I suppose that is what the star beside his name is for, but...he really should not attack them more than once. Even if they retailiate...which is normal.
It's not fair to the new guys to be baptized by fire. I know from experience.
This game is too tough to throw new players to the wolves.
It is also what makes this game great...the more you know about it...the more fun it is but it takes time. Some more time than others like me for instance. I'm just starting to get good fleet set-ups and have been playing well over 6 months. This is why I sympathize with the new guys and encourage them. I also encourage new players to do whatever it takes to bring down an enemy unless it's casual battle. Getting a win is more important than getting points when self confidence and ongoing continous interest is at stake.
Jeez guys...next one of you to post in " Is Space Trace Dieing" remember these arguments I made.
If it does die...it's because of point greed and then what are you going to do? Make yourself a little certificate that says " I am the BEST ST PLAYER
May the game rest in peace"
You guys are worse than the Ebola virus...it kills it's host as well after it has a wild time ravishing itts victims.
Think about it a little harder...you are cutting your own throats by these e reckless attacks or you really don't care
Pick on guys that are already addicted to the game like me. You know I'll not quit...I'll just learn more and fight back |

Tee2 it gets a bit annoying though when your base is being constantly hit, especially by the same players so, when i wanna gett outta my base or help allys i cant
So thats why i go savage. On the players that have attacked me!
Like a noob attacked me last night, he lost over 600, his fleet setup looked alright, except he used only one fleet!
And i didnt even meen to hurt him that much he caused it on his self! _________________ APEmpire |

I understand that a constant attack is very annoying and ties you to your base. Actually, you put me in that position as well but regardless, Did you send your attacker a note explaining what he did wrong and how his fleet could have done better by splitting up into 2 fleets?
That is part of the responsibility of the star you wear by your name. New people expect to lose when they attack a noob helper but they also deserve to know what they did wrong and how it would have worked if a few changes were made to thier fleet. |

Yes i did.
I told him he shouldent put that many motherships in each fleet and that he should concentrate more on his class 1 and class 2 efforts and focus less on his class 3 efforts _________________ APEmpire |

this comment is just for mighty about stating that priester was a noob in order to fool other people.
good mighty.
my intention actually was to keep you guys from calling us newb bashers, since we don't bash newbs, kirbs only attacked his neigbour who is the closest person to him once. and so did I ( and stupid me forgot that he had starter fleets so i've could've seen that spectre coming miles from here. but he.. shit happens...) yes priester is the old moby, yes he's experienced, but he wasn't around with a lot of changes, in his time, they didn't really even speak of swank, or know what it was.. all he knew in the beginning ( talking about a month ago or so now) was that pengs still rock. my point being with this, allthough he's an experienced player, he did need to get back into the game.
for the other info, we do still have newbs in the alliance, and also mediocre players, We don't bash newbs, (sands doesn't even get the time to even if he wanted to) , and one small single time visit of priester to that guy.. can't call that bashing now can you?
catch you later mighty, let me know when you return ok? _________________ The spartans do not ask how many....

lifes about getting cash, gonna kill someone for that? You will just get into trouble if the one you hit is in a alliance, I dont care about points, i care about playing the game and getting a good score from enemies, not noobs. _________________ Take your weapons soldiers!
