Spacetrace, you have to the reason being if that enemy is online and there experinced there gonna keep changing there fleets to anti-fleet yours. It was better with the flyover techniques sometimes and you couldent be detected but now you can

Hear, hear!

Ill tell you, anyone that fights active, online players will agree that it is quite a rush. Tense, suspenseful, thrilling battles can be had, from a normally slow paced, text-based game!

To see what I mean, go attack NeutralZone at the Pulsar. They will give you an action-packed run for your money! They have some very well-thought out and executed defense patterns, and a blind attack on them is suicide.

BTW, flyover techniques are crap!

a) i beat nz at the pulsar with luck: i used a swank and faced a fleet with evapourators at the end if i faced that first i would have lost big time. So yes they are really good.

b) Flyover technic is good otherwise why is admin stopping it. you can use it so u don t accidentally hit and so that u keep ur enemy unaware of ur presence for a while which gives you an edge in surprise.

So what are you exactly trying to say? That they are no good? So what if you fought the evaps first? Then would you agree that YOU are no good? I was there a couple days ago, and I walked away with points, but I still respect them as decent adversaries, and I plan to go back. The only people I will trash talk in this game are cowards, multis, and loudmouths. NZ keeps to themselves, doesnt get in anybodys face, and does their best job at keeping the Pulsar. Not only that, they are active as hell, and work together well.

I did not state that the Flyover Technique is officially crap, I stated that it is my opinion that it is crap. You can like it all you want. I liked the drop method, but the admin thought it was crap. Too bad for me.

By the way, you can still do flyovers so you dont accidentally hit their planet. And if you move fast enough, and your opponent is offline long enough, you can get more than enough surprise.
