in the com_search page you can enter a whole copy of a comlist-screen now to search for the players on that list.
i uploaded the first version.
there are still some problems, i used this code:

and you see the result.
maybe someone of you theat is more familiar with regular expressions can try to make a better one.

and we still need someone who knows more about regular expressions? |

I have tried that and it did not seeem to work, when you say copy, do you mean a straight cut and pastes into note pad or something else. Copies of coms sent to me look like this: co ords deleted

exactly like that.
i assume, you deleted the coords, cause only the players that have coords are searched for
here is an example:
this list:
tag1 O* Bli of Blo 2931 400/400/30
othertag O* thing of thong
force O* you know of who 6526 300/300/30
would lead to a search result with only two players:
Bli of Blo : 400/400/30
you know of who : 300/300/30
because
thing of thong has no coords
it works on my MSIE5.5
maybe there are some differences on other browsers the way they copy the screen to the clipboard wit CTRL+C
try it with your own comlist, it should work

I deleted the co ords from the paste cos they are current players.
But when I have tried to paste an allies com list into the thingy, only a couple came up, the rest seemed to be ignored. So I had to add em the hard way. |

| Hey it works quite well except I think it should add the co ords to your list automatically instead of you having to paste them all in in the last section where is says here are the names you added and in the box is what you already have. |

| I think you should add that you have to click on "player search" in the comlist and then on "search for list of players" on the bottom of the screen. Because it's quite hard to find... |
