I had a battle with some penguins and from my knowledge they have a battle syntax that says that penguins recycle after the battle is finished in the class 4 battle. Now wat i'm wonding is if that class4 battle must occur in the enemies class4 subbattle or your own.

your fleet 1 fights against fleet 3 from darkgreymon of devil_world at 470/503/15
26.01 22:25:29 - your fleet arrived
24.01 04:10:54 - the enemy fleet arrived

yours: 1 ship
class 4:
1 mothership (0/1000, 320 MP)

enemy: 1625 ships
class 1:
1625 penguins (4/1, 1 MP)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
your class 4 vs enemy class 1: V ^
you:
1 mothership
enemy:
1625 penguins

250 penguins vs 1 mothership

losses:
you :
1 mothership
enemy :
-
score in this subbattle: -320

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
summary:
your losses:
class 4:
1 mothership

enemy losses:
-

As you see....i lost my mothership but i checked my probes and the other guy still retained his penguins. I know you can do this, but i didn't think that penguins can still be there even though the sub battle was against my class4 and his class1

kame is right, penguins only recycle in c4 battles, c4 vs c4.

Now the c4 of you is destroyed, so no c4 vs c4 can happen right than.

that makes almost impossible to make points out of them, at least you have spectre, interceptors or nano bombers. Probably with some flamingos with cyclops. Imagine 2 fleets with 2000 pinguins each, without class 4.

Yea, just use 1 ms loads of penguins and two flying saucers in the other fleets and use the ''drop method''. then you got 2 fleets with around 2200 penguins that won't recycle.

It doesnt, sadly. I recently tried it.

Penguins was probably one of the reasons that the "drop method" was outlawed.

What you can do, is have a battle at someone's homeworld and leave. Come back the next day with several fleets right before your battlepause is over. Place the penguins there, in one or two fleets, and move out your motherships in your other fleet.

You will probably have to keep one fleet fresh until the last minute, and take out his defense, or have a partner do it. When the battlepause ends...BOOM. Then fly back in, grab your penguins, and take off.

Damn it. I thought it still worked. Haven't used it in ages though.
