How can I know the coordinates of a planet.

What does they mean, i'm sending probes bur I dont know where their going?

If I destroy a probe wil the com-link keep existing?

Thanks

Probes are sent to the xxx/xxx/xx coords you plot in for it. If it's an investigations probe, it will scan for planets within a 10-sector radius.

Once it has scanned, you can delete it so you can build a new one. The comlinks and coordinate data will stay.

go to your com list before you destroy the probe, that makes sure the new co ords get in.

well, a good advice is to send the probes to oposite directions and trying not to send them too far, cuz you wanna know your neigbours first
then send them to other coords trying to cover more space area
something you should know is that a sector is like an unit and to fly one sector at warp 5 it will take you 30 minutes, at warp 15..10 minutes.

Hummm yes... If you know you are going to be attacked and you have DSP and not vessel scan just send the DSP 1 co-ord away so like if your co-ords were 488/555/635 <--- Change that one there. so it would now be 488/555/634 or 488/555/636, but DSP is mainly used for scanning other peoples planets and fleets so that it gives u abit of an insight on what they may be packing in them fleets. So then you can attack them head on and win.

If you need anymore help just post it in this Topic or if there is one i aint sure as i cant think at this moment intime it is morning

Just look for a newb/noob topic section and post it in there. Hope to see you playing the game more and if you want to learn things that you cant learn direct from the manual come in IRC, its a button in the Com screen in the top corner.

Hope To See You In There Soon

Greetz,
Evans
