i think it would be cool to have some more definitions and descriptions.
all technologies ( ships,buildings,basic researches,probes)have a description, but i think there are some more needed.(-> destruction concept)
i will collect them here. if you wanna add some, don't be shy.
this is the structure:
term (optional: short cut) description (optional: flavor information)

destroy - battle effect, weakest destruction effect, destroyed ships have 0 LP and can be reconstructed
kill - battle effect, second weakest destruction effect, killed ships cannot be reconstructed, but some ships or buildings are kill-resistent
obliterate - battle effect, most effective destruction effect, nearly no ship can stand that
recycle - battle effect, ship is obliterated but without loss of points
repair - battle effect, some ships can repair the vessel that is actually under fire
ship - A spacecraft (fighting or other)
building -
battle - A fight bettween 2 or more fleets with different attitudes at the same co ordinates.
subbattle -As part of a battle bettween 2 fleets. A fight within a class of ships in a battle, or bettween 2 separate classes.
ie class2 vs class2 or class 2 vs class 3
class - A category of ship 1,2,3,4.
manpower - The percentage of your population devoted to warship construction.
population The amount of people living on your planet.
building - a station that orbits your planet; it cannot move around ->shipyard , research center
probe - little unmanned craft that can measure information about foreign fleets and/or planets
lightyear - 1 lightyear = 9.460.000 mio. km
sector - 1 sector = 100 lightyears
subspace - space beyond the 3 dimensional normal space. to travel faster than light you need to jump into subspace
swank fleet - easy to use and powerfull fleet containing mostly class 3 ship like cyclops, apollo cruiser, major reconstructor etc.
target-counter - whilest a battle there is a counter on each side that is always set to the actual target ship. each time a ship leaves the battle, (cause it gets destroyed, shielded...) this counter is put on the next ship in row that will be the target of the next enemy shot.
shoot-counter - these counters are set on the actual shooting ship in each fleet. some effects take effect on this shoot-counter, for example the jam-effect.
jamming - if a ship jams an enemy ship, it puts the shoot counter one up, so the enemy ship counts as "has already shot" the only effect that could make this ship shoot would be the
1 1 1 -setup /-fleet - one fighter, one destroyer , one cruiser to protect a base or a mothership.
psg - shortcut for plasma gun ship
dsp - shortcut for deep scan probe
