I hate fish and chips when it ends up cooked in really OLD, STALE oil that has been used over and over again. It makes your throat taste of greece for the rest of the day.  Also I hate it when the batter is shit. There is no excuse for either of these things!
Mind you, we have the UKs number one fish and chip shop near us; Seafare in Guildford! Check them out if you're around.

So he pours half the bottle in it and the end of the bag is drowned with vinegar, so much so that if you smell it your eyes water and your nostrils sting.
BUT I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!!!!!!
LITRES OF VINEGAR MORE MORE MORE!!! GO ITALALIANS I LOVE YOU ALL! FISH N' CHIPS !!!! WEEEEEEEEE

man where did u eat fish and chips, i promise u no grease in mine, none, it will be finger licking good, oh that reminds me of kentucky fried chicken which tastes like fish cause the chicken only get fish food |

skyfreak, i haven't ever tasted fish in kentucky fried chicken actually... but if you get fish and chips like the way mdellis said... *puke* no way then, clear oil, then it tastes perfect  |

There's only one way to eat fish'chips...
Go to the MainRoad in Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa...
There's a Fish'Chip Shop since years...a Portuguese Family...
No matter what time of day you go in there, you have to practically queue...
and shout...Fish'Chips with extra Vinegar...!!!
They use either Cod or Snoek...Cod's a bit more expensive...
Fresh Oil cos they are frying all day and all night long....
A few brothers cooking...all energetic, enthusiastic and friendly...
Portuguese Fisherman....bringing in fresh fish...
Wrapped in Newspaper....Soaked with Vinegar....
What more can I say...they have somehow managed to turn an ordinary english dish into a work of art in taste...
May Fish'Chips never vanish from our planet earth...
If ever Aliens do decide its time to come to see what the hell we are doing here on earth...then at least we can say...Have some Fish'Chips... |
