I have been playing CTF long enough now, why doesn't the FC get the CLAIM link ????? i think it is only logic that the leader hasn't got the flag because we have a FC get it?

Because the Flag Commander is in charge of the flag holding and retrieving. And because it can be changed frequently it makes more sense to give the leader that right.
