i just wondered if its possible to have more than 3 probes... maybe 5 or so???

no its not possible
(accept for alliances in the whole)



but i think u mean u just wanted more...

... u wont get , because its part of the game that u r limited and have to do the best out of what u got.

i think three is the right number. allways to few for everything i want but enough for everything i need.

4 are critital

3 is ok, i think...

I think 3 are ok.
But whats about the different types?
I need only the deep space probe and the investigation probe. So the other probe could be changed to something useful, like a fleet tracking probe, which follows enemy fleets when such a fleet is crossing the position of the probe! So you can retail every attack very fast, without searching a lot.
